Headquartered in Long Beach, California, Obagi Medical Products, Inc. is a pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures, markets and sells proprietary prescription skin care Systems. The Systems are designed to prevent and improve the most common and visible skin disorders in adult skin. The Obagi Nu-Derm System products were created in 1988 by Dr. Zein E. Obagi and other leading experts. Dr. Obagi and his partners began manufacturing and selling the products, and nine years later, the company's name was changed to Obagi Medical Products, Inc. with Dr. Obagi serving as the company's Chief Medical Officer and a member of the Board of Directors up until 2006.
 

Prescription strength.  So where can I get it?

Because the Obagi System products contain prescription strength formulations, the systems are only available through physicians, which include over 3,500 in the United States, primarily dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medical spas and other skin care specialists.
 

How often do I use Elastiderm Eye products by Obagi?

For best results, use Elastiderm eye gel or cream twice a day (morning and night).  This way you're reducing visible fine lines throughout the day and throughout the night.

Which should I choose? Elastiderm Gel or Elastiderm Cream?

The results are about the same.  Some use the Gel in the morning and the cream at night.  It's a matter of personal preference.  Twice a day application of Elastiderm is the key and either one should be fine.  Many who have normal to dry skin prefer the eye cream, and those who have normal to oily skin may prefer the eye gel.  Those that live in a tropical type climate may prefer the eye gel.  Some use the gel in the summer and cream in the winter.
